Pup-Head Portable Dog Potty - LARGE

First to recommend

Description

This is a very unique and useful product. That is if you can actually get your dog to use it! Another reason, as The Green Head (another This Next User) says cats are better. I don't know if I believe they're better. They are just easier to deal with in that regard. At least a dog can help to protect you in an emergency. Or alert you to intruders, etc. However, dogs are definitely more work, and will take more consideration in emergency situations. Where the dog will relieve itself if it cannot go outside is a SERIOUS consideration. This what one site says about the "Pup-Head Portable":

"The uniqueness of this product begins with the yarn used to produce the grass blades. This special product blend helps fight odors, which in turn creates a safer, cleaner environment for the pets. The knitted back provides for instantaneous and immediate drainage of the turf itself. Pup-Head™ is almost level with the ground. In addition, the patent pending scent makes the Pup-Head™ irresistible to dogs.

Features and Benefits:

* Measures 30” x 40’ x 1.5” For Large Dogs
* Looks, Feels And Smells Like Real Grass
* 100% Organic Attractant
* Antibacterial Material Controls Odors
* Non-Skid Pads Included
* Easy Usage At Ground Level
* Woven Design Allows Instant Drainage
* Drainage Core Keeps Grass Away From Liquids
* Easy Clean-Up With Water
* No Replacement Parts Or Refills Required
* Lightweight And Portable: Weight 12 lbs.
* Re-Usable Carrying Case With Handle
* Perfect Solution For Boats, Recreational Vehicles, Apartments, High-Rise Buildings And Cold Weather Climates
* Elderly And Handicapped Pet Owners, Anyone Who May Be Unable To Take Their Dogs Outdoors Several Times A Day, Will Love Pup-Head

Uses:

* Housebreaking
* Puppies
* Senior Dogs
* Service Dogs
* Apartments
* Deck, Patios
* Balconies
* Motor Homes
* Boats

All in all, I think this is an ingenious product. I'll wager that training time on it will vary with the individual animal.

Emergency Portable Toilet

First to recommend

Description

In an emergency situation, sanitation should be a major concern. Not only because of the grim reality of it, but because of the potential for disease and contamination. I have found a doable, if not luxury item that will deal with part of that issue. This "bucket style" toilet comes with a traditional snap-on, hinged contour seat and a cover. It's better than squatting over a stew pot from the kitchen. There are also chemical additions to this that improve it's functioning. (via emergencyresources.com)

Bio-Blue Toilet Deodorant for Emergency Toilets

First to recommend

Description

It may be a bad situation, but why make it worse?? Room deodorant only goes so far. At some point, it just smells like room deodorant and well... I won't go into the gory details. Here is a solution to that potential problem with portable toilets. This product:

* Quickly neutralized and destroys toilet waste odors.
* Dry powder blend of natural enzymes in pre-measured pouches.
* "No mess" pouch dissolves in water-no contact with product.
* Plastic tub with re-sealable lid.
* Drop one pouch into water. Water dissolves pouch and chemicals. (via emergencyresources.com)
