Description
My all-time favorite dive was performed at twilight by a Hawaiian man who leapt from a cliff while holding a flaming torch in one hand. I am pretty sure we won't see any torches during any of the aquatics events, but I know they will all be thrilling nonetheless. And the venue, also known as the "Water Cube" is, in and of itself, a wonder to behold. (via Beijing 2008)

Graphic Design Gabe Lacktman has reviewed the underdog art of graffiti through the lens of typography, creating perhaps the most in-depth body of work I have yet to see on the subject. Contact the artist directly if you are interested in purchasing a copy (or finding out if any are indeed available for sale at this time.)

From now through August 17, 2008, the work of Ralph Rucci will be on display within the Kelly Ellman Fashion Design Gallery of the Phoenix Art Museum. Rucci's clothing line, now known as "Chado Ralph Rucci", is a reference to the meticulous serving of tea in the eponymous Japanese ceremony. It is no simple task to create clothing of this caliber. See for yourself why Rucci has earned the honor of membership in the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture.
