illy espresso cups

Description
I've been on a long and exhaustive search for great espresso cups. I've searched all the usual suspects and they all come short. Dont get me wrong, there are lots of options out there, but few have much character. Some have too much character.
On my last trip to NYC I stopped by Food Emporium on the Upper East Side for a cup-o-joe (espresso, that is). They serve illy coffee, the pride of Italy. I've always known of illy, had it many times, yet somehow, the image of their cups escaped my mind.
The illy cups are just perfect. Each is just simple enough with a little bit of charm. The loop handle is adorable. Pinch with your fingers and sip the dreamy espresso goodness!

MyCuppa Mugs

Description
Oh the terrors of adding cream to coffee are over! How much to add? Too much? Too little? Consistency be damned no longer. Ha!
I love this idea... inside this mug are several color swatches to help determine YOUR personal brew. You can make the same style each time - no matter how much you hand is jittering (switch to decaf).
Pantone-style cups are not new but this is still very novel.

Tazo Matcha
First to recommend
Description
What would I do if the world did not have matcha? How would I fuel up without the usual guilt?
Matcha powder is concentrated green tea. Its consumed in many ways and is the primary ingredient in Starbucks' green tea drinks. The Tazo Matcha concentrate is an imaginative one. The flavor of green tea is blended with honeydew melon. It makes great green tea lattes.
I mix mine with some cool soymilk for a cool way to start the morning.

Description
I've had my espresso machine for too long without espresso cups! I've been stalling, hoping to find the 'right ones.' Of course, the right set has been staring me in the face for a long time now.
Lexon always gets it right! This set of 6 cups, 6 saucers / lids, 6 irresistible spoons and 1 tray is perfect.
Drinking espresso is a celebration to me and this set elevates the experience that much higher. Its just wonderful. No wasted space in some cabinet, no useless frills.

Teavana Blueberry Bliss Rooibos Tea
First to recommend
Description
This weekend I stepped into a Teavana store for the first time - what an experience.
Many have speculated that tea will regain its popularity - with stores like Teavana, it might. The staff was incredibly friendly and maybe too educated about tea. No question went unanswered. Its rare to see such enthusiasm.
I sampled a ton of tea but in the end I settled for the Blueberry Bliss Rooibos tea. Its a wonderfully yummy and fun tea that is great hot and even better over ice. What can I say, I am a sucker for blueberries.
My previous experience with tea shops was abroad. When I traveled through Paris, I remember the wonderful variety of tea shops and the exotic scents of tea from all over the world. Then, tea shops were still very uncommon here. Things have changed.
Teavana has lots of great tea accessories to go along with its insanely large assortment of tea. If you have a chance, give them a shot. You'll love it.

Shin Double Wall Coffee Press

Description
This coffee press will put all others to shame! It is the premiere press in my kitchen.
Topping Bodum's impressive double wall collection, the Shin press is the logical and beautiful evolution. The double wall construction sparkles as it keeps your perfectly made brew hot.
I was lucky to grab one of the all-glass version where even the handle was made of crystal clear glass. You can still get the plastic handle version.

Bodum Young Press
First to recommend
Description
A french press is still one of the best ways to brew coffee at home. You get great flavor and full body every time. Bodum makes lots of beautiful models - this is perhaps the most fun and durable. Deep down, underneath the very hard to destroy shell and below the fun red rubber plunger grip is a true Bodum French Press. You get all the function in a, dare I say it, younger skin. Probably a better choice if you have a clumsy spouse or legions of children running around the kitchen.

Brugo Travel Coffee Mug
First to recommend
Description
Not your ordinary coffee mug! You can stop burning your tongue on scalding coffee. Depending on which side you drink from, the Brugo mug will cool your drink down at different rates. The liquid inside will remain hot, what comes out will be tolerable so you can drink it without waiting for it to cool.
Pretty Smart!
