The Effect Generator

First to recommend

Description

Online efx-generator for your website or social-network site. Develop your own web-based animation without tedious 'action-scripting'. I was able to get things working and completed without any fuss. No registration/membership set backs. Easy to use, but their video tutorials can also help you if your new to Flash based animations. Upload your own images after adding the image component. Use the Text component to add static or dynamic text. You can create slideshows. Choose from a small library of choice fonts that The Effect Generator has provided. Save and e-mail your work or publish the code yourself if you prefer. You have many options (i.e. HTML, JavaScript, WebURL). I prefer the email because it sends links to the preview animation or edit-link. I really appreciate sites that give people the tools to work with. Now it's up to me to do something with it. Adobe Photoshop Express

First to recommend

Description

Adobe Software recently launched the beta-version of their web-based program named, Photoshop Express. Registered members can upload, edit, store and share their digital works for FREE. On the Adobe web page --it reads, "nothing sadder than a homeless photo". Adobe is currently providing 2 GB's of storage (in my opinion is a large amount for a free service). I believe there will be fees for extended-features. So who should take advantage of Photoshop Express? I'd say anyone who doesn't need complex photo editing, but would like to use Photoshop Express as a web-server to farm out their images to other sites, i.e. Facebook, Last.fm, etc... I think Adobe Software is making a smart move with their Web 2.0 site. User experience is everything. Rating 5/5.

ThisNext - Recommend, Share and Discover Great Products!

Description

If you're reading this recommendation, then you may be wondering why I would recommend ThisNext to the list? Firstly, I was serious about the website recommendation because I think it's a well designed website. Secondly, I was curious whether I could recommend ThisNext. Apparently, I wasn't the first person to try this experiment.
