Hand-Sewn Dog Collar: Blue Polka

This stylish, yet incredibly durable, dog collar features the finest materials the artist could find. All collars are adjustable and made of tubular mountain climbing webbing which is soft and supple around your dog's neck. All stress points are *triple-stitched* for added support. A heavy-duty welded stainless steel D-ring and super strong plastic, slightly contoured, side release buckles provide extra security.

"Despite having a lab who pulls on a leash like an oxen, we have never had a buckle of D-ring fail."

Your dog's collar should ride high on your dog's neck, never too loose or to tight so that it restricts breathing. Collars should be snug with enough room to fit two fingers between your dog's neck and his collar. Check collar size frequently on growing puppies.

Remember, every collar you own should have a current nametag attached at all times.

SMALL: 12" to 16" Neck / 13 to 50 lbs
MEDIUM: 14" to 20" Neck / 40 to 100 lbs
LARGE: 16" to 24" Neck / 45 to 120 lbs

The artists begin the process by bending and soldering the wire. Then apply natural fiber and antique Japanese papers to the frame using special glue. The rich variety of colored and textured papers used provides both depth and luminosity. Finally, each piece is coated for anti-flammability and extra durability.

Base has manual on/off switch and uses standard 4W bulb.

All lights are fire-resistant and UV protected.

It is an animal, after all.

My favorite part is the spring-mounted head that wobbles.

While the artist has designated this piece as a cat, I feel like it may be something else, as well. A small dog? Take a look and use your imagination.
