Esque Recycled, Handblown Slumped Vase

First to recommend

Description

A fine example of Esque's quirky design sensibilities, this Slumped Vase features a blown glass form that looks crumpled like paper. The shape fits well with the product's materials, which include 100% recycled glass stock.

Esque Italian Carafe + Cup

First to recommend

Description

This Carafe and Cup set from Esque is simple enough, but the slightly unconventional forms of the individual pieces give it so much character. There's the unmistakable touch of a craftsman inherent to these pieces, which are all handblown. This is a nice way to add a distinctive touch to presentation without straying too far from tasteful subtlety.

Esque Volume Vase

First to recommend

Description

Tall, thin vases are always so pretty to look at and so horribly suited to actual functionality, as they constantly tip over with the weight of the flowers coming out of them. This Volume Vase from Esque remedies the problem by creating a surface limp that extends inconspicuously out from the base of the vase. The dual coloring adds character, and the slightly fluid form suggests Esque's standard handmade quality well.

Esque Recycled Beer Bottle Vases

3 people recommended this item

Description

This is a funny and clever take on the slightly trashy (you can call it bohemian, if you like) practice of putting flowers in your empty beer and wine bottles. These Recycled Beer Bottle Vases from Esque are handblown glass bottles made from recycled glass stock, much of which would have had to come from actual beer bottles. The coloring suggests beer bottles, but the detail feels quite a bit more arty.

Esque Dent Pitcher + Cups

First to recommend

Description

A more understated version of Esque's Bubble Pitcher and cups, this Dent pitcher features the brand's idiosyncratic forms that look so perfectly handmade and uniquely one-of-a-kind. The set comes in three different color options, each with a smoky feel.

Esque Teardrop Bottle

First to recommend

Description

Designed as a bottle for actual use, the Teardrob Bottle from Esque is an unconventional option as a vase or table jug. It's also pretty enough to simply act as sculpture on a prominent surface in your home. The handblown piece is made from recycled glass stock and is produced in an electric furnace powered by wind energy.
