Here's another item for my futuristic home a la the Jetsons; you know, the one with the jet pack garage.

This bed (or pod) provides a total environment. It has a simulated sundown/dawn type system in which light gradually decreases or increases in intensity encouraging more natural falling to sleep and waking. The lighting can also change color and intensity. I also has a sound system, massage, visco-elastic mattress, and a system to block electromagnetic waves and radiation.

It might be too comfortable and become a permanent home in its own right!

I'm not always a fan of the cute, but this gets my vote!

It looks like an egg and has seeds ( basil or lavender) inside. You start the plant in the eggling and when you transplant it when it's bigger, the eggling can be crushed for fertilizer.

Description

I love the simplicity of these bookcases. They have a substantial look.
There is also a rectangular version that can be used upright or along its length.

The price is very reasonable too.
