Pink and Green Striped Shirt

Description

To me the eighties are all about stripes, rainbow bright and strawberry shortcake! And this looks like exactly the 30s I remember. It's bright, it's striped and it has strawberries sewn on it.

Pink Crystal Star Necklace

First to recommend

Description

I got my ears pierced for the very first (well and only) time in the 80s. My first pair of earring where a traditional diamond stud, but when it came time to go to school I had a whole set of plastic and faux crystal earrings. This pink crystal star necklace reminds of those earrings and of jewelry that made was "cool" in the 80s.

Neon Snap Bracelets

Description

In the eighties my friends and I thought that snap bracelets were training us to be masochists. I think we were being a little silly. But its hard not to love a bright neon bracelet that makes a satisfying crack as it wraps around your wrist.

Swirl Snap Bracelets

Description

These bracelets were actually outlawed from my school when I was little. Like many forbidden things it actually just raised the value of snap bracelets and they became a hot "black market" item on the school bus. I've always liked cuffs and so with the resurgence of the 80s, I can't wait to bring my black market bracelets back.

Candy Nonpareil Ring

First to recommend

Description

The eighties certainly were a time of brightness, bright clothes, bright shoes and bright jewelry. This time around a ring like this seems oh, so eighties and I think it would be kind of fun. A rainbow of nonpareils make up the ring. It's just a fun blast to the past, and is that's what 80s fashion is about? (though leg warmers are just useful).

Green Star Charm Earrings

Description

Earring exactly like this are what I wore all through the eighties. In the early 90s with the arrival of minimalist I jettisoned all of them. But, you know looking at them, they aren't that bad. In fact, I'm kind of thinking in addition to being fun for daily wear again, they'd be awesome for St Patricks day. I'm totally loving these again.

Stirrup Leggings

First to recommend

Description

As a child of the 80s I can tell you that they one thing you can never have too many pairs of was stirrup pants. I vastly preferred them to jeans when I was younger and in fact I think it's part of the reason that leggings didn't bother me too much when they appeared on the scene again recently. Then I loved the way that stirrup pants meant you always had a clean line, now I think I love them for the same reason (and that they are warm!).

7 for all Mankind - Stirrup Jean

Description

I wore plenty of stirrup pants in my youth...b ut my figure was perhaps a little bit better then. None the less, it looks like my summer diet will be working overtime as these jeans don't hide a thing. I still kind of like them though.

Stripped Leg Warmers

Description

Well, the eighties is famous for stripes and leg warmers. Put them together and you have the quintessence of the 80s. Well, maybe that's a little grandiose, but none the less they are fun. I have a hard time working leg warmers into daily wear, but I like them for working out in the winter and for 80s themed parties.

Brown Ribbed Knit Stretchy Leg Warmers with Button Trim

First to recommend

Description

I like these leg warmers and I could see wearing them over tights in the fall months. Makes it a lot easier to wear those short skirts that never seem to go out of style. These leg warmers are in a nice shade of brown and have three adorable buttons on the side. Perfect to keep you warm on cold autumn day.
