Who knew curtains could be so appealing!

Tord Boontje does it again. The talk of Milan 2004, Boontje embraces the decorative and steps beyond the restrictions of minimalism to help redefine what is meant by the word 'modern'. The 'until dawn' curtain from artecnica echoes the motif of his popular "midsummer light" series.

Made of tyvek, a very strong synthetic paper material. Comes with velcro-closure loops and holes so that it can be hung from hooks.

The backing is white.

Big Tree Stencil

I've been looking all over for a wall decal to my liking that would be re-usable... No such luck as of yet! BUT, I've found this stencil - which of course, is re-usable - and I think that this tree design is quite nice! Might just order one fairly soon.

One big advantage I find in a stencil is that you can make it any color you wish! In my case, I'd like it to be the same color as the accent wall (to be) of my living room (ground pepper)! :)
