It has to be the symmetry. Because there is something about argyle that I just adore. And when I say adore I mean lets make a speech like Meredith on Grey's Anatomy about how much I love it (been re-watching season two with the strike going on). This cashmere black and grey arygle sweater would makes it into my everyday wardrobe, whether it's with a collared shirt and pearls for work or a camisole, jeans and ballet flats for the weekend. I LIVE in this cardigan.

I had this boyfriend once who purported to love argyle. I went a little insane: argyle socks, argyle scarves and most importantly argyle sweaters just like this black and grey one made an appearance at every real and made up holiday I could think of. I think he regretted telling me he liked it. But at least when we broke up he had an awesome argyle collection. I'm still not a big fan of leggings. This is not to say that I don't own some. Leggings make it so that going out on a cold winter night isn't as cold as it used to be, but still, they just don't seem to match the rest of my wardrobe. This brown, tan and pink argyle tunic make up for that. When I match this over leggings, the argyle makes the leggings seem not that bad.
