Description

The Complete Persepolis is an autobiographical account of Marjane Satrapi who grew up in Iran. I really liked this novel because this gives us a rare glimpse of what it was like growing up in Tehran. (via Barnes and Noble)

Description

I first stumbled upon this series of graphic novels while hanging out in Forbidden Planet. There is an English and French version. If you are like me and can read French then u will enjoy both versions. There are more sequels to come. I really enjoyed reading this. This is the first graphic novel that I have read, that shows an African perspective.
