Description
Yes, the other version of Alexander McQueen/Philip Treacy's hat. Equally fab and more wearable.
And with the plus that it's an hommage to Isabella Blow (oh, and the price). (via Soupnazi)

Yes another item from this Brooklin trio. Very classy and not-so-extravagant (as... the peacock vesion....that I also love).
Although I rarely wear them, I do love head-things (remember... "I love to find new places to wear diamonds!" ihihihih)
Hope those feathers are false.... or at least, ethically obtained....

Great interpretation of one of Brazil's most... turistic tradition*
*It started in 1809, the original ribbons were in silk, and embroided, and held "ex-votos", being used as necklaces as a reminder of one's promise. In the 1960's it came back in the wrists or ankles of hippies (in Bahia region).
Now it is used to ask for 3 desires: you give 3 knots and wear it 'till it tears apart .

Description
I just love it when traditional technics join forces with design - Bilros is a kind of weaving where the strands are tied to make lacework. originally from Portugal, it is also a tradition in Brazil.
Design Academy Eindhoven student's + Associação de Rendeiras de Bilro do Morro da Mariana (Ilha Grande/ Piauí, Brazil)
StraaT (Silvia Sasaoka e Anton van Dort) does product development always associating the latest design trends with artisans' asociations.
It also works as an interchange programe for design students.

The Knitted Sessions By Aforest-design

Description
turn off is a statement against dead-end couch and zapping culture. It’s about cleaning up the mental environment fromdistorted news, manipulative advertising, and top-down culture. the goal is simple: to shake up routines and get people questioning the role of TV in their lives.
aforest-design supports this movement, with the edition of a knitted acessories collection, evidencing the moments of pause and rest of the TV, practically inexistent nowadays.
