Who is Millenium Promise?
MILLENNIUM PROMISE is a non-profit organization founded by economist and global anti-poverty crusader, Dr. Jeffrey Sachs. Their goal is to end extreme poverty by 2025. Their mission is to work village by village in Africa, to empower the poor with the skills and tools they need to pull themselves out of poverty and become self sustainable after 5 years. If we all do our part:
We can save the lives of 30 million children who would otherwise die before reaching the age of 5.
More than 500 million people will no longer struggle to live on less than $1 a day.
More than 250 million people will no longer suffer from hunger.
