Giant Toblerone
First to recommend
Description
Okay, maybe it's not "giant," but weighing in at nearly a pound, it'll make you lapse into a milk chocolate/honey/almond nougat-induced coma.
There were a lot of things not to like about moving every couple of years and living overseas for most of my childhood. One great thing, however, is that practically every airport in the world sells Toblerone. Easily my favorite chocolate, I like to give these as stocking stuffers to as many friends as I can get my grubby, chocolate-stained hands on.
Toblerone. Why it's not bigger in the U.S., I'll never know. I think it's the best chocolate in the world. Give it a try and prove me wrong...

Four Emus - Australian Wine
First to recommend
Description
I'm a beer and pretzels kind of guy, but when I want a nice bottle of wine, I head straight down to my local liquor store and pick up a bottle of Four Emus' Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. It's delicious, crisp, and usually comes in under $10 a bottle. The website has all kinds of interesting facts about emus, has a quirky little jingle (if you're in need of theme music), and instructions on ways to find Four Emus at a store near you.

Uno Chicago Grill: Giftcards
First to recommend
Description
Giftcards. Some people love them; others see them as thoughtless gifts from thoughtless people.
Personally? I see them as DELICIOUS when they're for Uno's. Rated "America's Healthiest Chain Restaurant" by Health Magazine and a "Top-Ten Family Restaurant" by Parents Magazine, Uno's has great food that won't make you blimp up like Michael Moore.
My personal favorite, for around 8 bucks, is a lunch special that includes sirloin tips, sauteed onions and mushrooms, rice pilaf, and your choice of soup or salad. During one especially glorious summer a couple of years ago, I think I ordered this for take-out three or four times a week. Leave work, walk a couple of blocks, pick it up, come back, and enjoy a great meal for a great price. It beats fast food any day.
Not only does Uno's have sumptuous, healthy food, but they are very involved in their local communities and have programs where you can apply for contributions for your local efforts. Check it out online.
Mmmmmm... Uno's. They only have locations in about 30 states, so it's not truly "nationwide"... but... if you know that certain someone in your life who's sick of bag lunches and McDonald's at work, toss him or her an Uno's gift card -- a truly thoughtful gift from a truly thoughtful person.

Angus Beef - Tenderloin
First to recommend
Description
I'm a red meat kind of guy. I fish all the time, and spend many summer days crabbing out in the tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay, but I don't even like seafood. It's odd. Give me beef, though, and I'll curl up at your feet and purr like a well-fed jaguar.
Angus Tenderloin is Cadillac of beef cuts... at least, when Cadillac used to be the Cadillac of cars. Nowadays, Cadillac is sort of like Miller High Life (a.k.a. "The Champagne of Beers"). But I digress.
There are very few food products worth buying over the internet, but Angus Beef is one of them. Aged perfectly, the tenderloins can be sliced into 1/8" in strips, marinated with sauteed onions, spring onions and various chinese sauces, broiled for 4 minutes a side, and served over a plate of rice for a delicious meal. Or, you can just go the normal route and eat them as steaks. Entirely up to you.
Angus Beef. It's *really* what's for dinner.

Ginsu Stainless 4 pc Steak Knife Set
First to recommend
Description
Nothing is worse than a dull steak knife. You're at the table, a perfectly-cooked steak in front of you, and you're sawing at it for so long that you eventually give up, scarf down your baked potato, and order Chinese.
Well, with Ginsu steak knives, that's not a problem. These incredibly sharp knives go through a steak like butter, and they never get dull, never need sharpening, never let you down. For those of you who enjoy purchasing large cuts of meat, check out Ginsu's 8-piece Traditional Block Set, which includes a paring knife, a boning knife, and a Santoku knife for whittling those slabs down to size.

Nu-Salt
First to recommend
Description
Let's face it: You aren't getting any younger. Things are starting to sag, you make strange grunting noises when you get out of bed, and sometimes muscles hurt where you didn't know you had any.
It's never too late to start taking care of your body. Salt, my personal Achilles Heel, is one of the places we can instantly improve our overall health by drastically reducing our sodium intake. This stuff tastes just like salt, but it's sodium-free.
(I'm not kidding about my love of salt. I just ran into the kitchen and sprinkled some of this on my tongue. I really, really miss my salt lick.)
Anyway... if you can't get your lazy butt out of bed to exercise, and you can't cut back on the sausage, bacon, hash browns & eggs from McDonald's... at least try some Nu-Salt. It'll help, and you'll feel like less of a porker.

The "Extreme" Daiquiri Whacker

Description
Tailgating made easy. While you're swilling beer and downing Jell-O shots, your more cultured tailgating friends might enjoy a Daiquiri or Margarita. Here's the answer: A gas-powered blender. No extension cords, no bulky generators. Pure blended drink heaven.

NFL Apron

Description
You can burn the burgers, drop the dogs on the floor, and undercook the chicken... as long as you're wearing your favorite team's apron, you're good in my book. I'm too busy drinking on gameday to eat anyway.
Also, at least in my mind, the Steelers apron in the picture would look ridiculously sexy on a woman. Soooo many things I want to say here, but I'll leave it at that.
(Standard disclaimer: I *suppose* you could get this for the other 31 NFL teams as well, but why would you want to?)

A Taste for Love: A Romantic Cookbook for Two
First to recommend
Description
I may be a pig, but a nice home-cooked meal -- especially a romantic dinner -- always takes my mind off of the stresses of the day.
(Side note: When you cook a nice, romantic dinner, don't just serve it at the dinner table. Find a small table and drape it in the below-mentioned satin, or a nice tablecloth. Put it somewhere cozy, like in the living room by the fireplace, or in the bedroom. Use candles and flowers, and maybe a card. Spend as much time making the table look great as you do making the food taste great.)
From the book description:
"The book is divided into eight sections: "Breakfast in Bed" gets the day off to a good start, and "By the Fire" is guaranteed to turn the heat up. "Table for Two" offers romantic restaurant-style dinners, while "Perfect Picnics" cooks up portable meals for romance on the go. "Light Love" is for calorie-conscious lovers, "From the Garden" gets vegetarians in the mood, and "Songs of the Sea" offers love on the half-shell. Finally, you'll always have Paris with "Bar and Grill," a collection of bistro-style meals that will make you feel like Bogie and Bergman. With such dishes as Herb-Roasted Tomatoes with Romano Cheese, Soup de Provence avec Pistou, and Chocolate Kahlua Soufflé, what's not to love?"
