Porcelain Knife-Holders: "Printemps," by Tralalart

These are beautiful objects of handpainted porcelain. They are "porte-couteaux," or knife-rests. (Second image shows them in use.)

Ok, you do have to order them from France. Or pick them up while you're there. . . I'd make a point of visiting the Tralalart store at 19 rue milton 75009 Paris.

My favorite item of furniture is the shelf unit, and this is among the best of the best. As much a sculpture as a piece of furniture, this unit has numerous shelves, each of which can rotate around the center axis. The permutations are infinite. I can just picture it holding my favorite books and my most beloved objets d'knick knack.

Zippers! I love them! And with a catchy name like DZ5046, how can it go wrong? I saw this in the November issue of InStyle magazine, and loved it immediately.

It's a good thing I really like this watch, and you're very lucky I found it for you. I'm the one who had to navigate diesel.com to find it. I hate flash. That's not trendy, I know, but I hate it. Everything useabality is not, is flash.
