I have really long eyelashes, so I don't really need the latest and greatest of mascaras, be it a spherical brush or a wand that vibrates. I am totally content with my simple (and inexpensive!) CoverGirl mascara. This one does the trick and gives me the volume I want. I don't have a problem with flaking or smearing, which is definitely a bonus.

Oprah loves a bit of shimmer and she gets her best shimmer with this Chanel eyeshadow. Color of choice? Nomade and Tigre. I haven't tried out Chanel eyeshadow yet but the powers of O makes me want to run out and give it a shot.

Another Oprah contender in the best of the Boldest and Brightest award. She prefers the Laura Mercier Lip Glacé in Bonbon. Laura Mercier makes great cosmetics so I am sure Oprah is dead on by calling this one of the best.

I have a love for nail polish. A good color can put me in a much better. For years I avoided polish because I thought it would ruin my nails. Finally I gave in and found that with a good base it can help give endurance to my nails. Lippmann polish has won me over with their lovely pearl and jelly like finishes.
