Oh so cool. So very, very cool.

The nutshell version? You wire this portrait into your existing home security system. It has the appearance of a mirror UNTIL it is triggered by one of the custom events you have programmed it to respond to. Then, the mystical apparition appears a la Snow White, informing you via one of dozens of phrases you have personally chosen what specific event has just occured. ie "There is someone approaching the house from the driveway."

But what I run to FIRST on sites like this is the Clearance/Sale section- that's where used stage backdrops (and gorgeous draperies and panels) are actually SOLD at very reasonable prices. ps You don't need all of the fancy hanging stuff. These bad boys will stay up with just a staple gun under the molding or in the crease of your ceiling....
