Ticket Stub Diary

Description
I've saved ticket stubs (mostly from the movies), since I was in high school. Now I can get rid of the manila folder they're in. Great idea!

OBAMA - Obey Giant

Description
Classic World War propaganda style that oddly seems to fit today. I wish I got my hands on this .

Opulent Pencil Set
First to recommend
Description
I don't know why I like, or even entirely agree, with simple products being re-made into something fancy, exclusive, and/or expensive. However, these pencils just scream to me and while being horribly overpriced, they are still affordable at $15 and I think they'd look great on your writing desk or in the hands of a lucky gift recipient.
P.S. The Violet site uses a lot of Flash so I hope the link works correctly.

Sorapot

Description
Here's what I had to say about this beauty on joshspear.com:
I’ve waited over two years for designer Joey Roth to bring his 3D design off the computer monitor and into a tangible product. A product that brings together my admiration for good design and my obsession with tea is a surefire winner.

Mac x Barack Obama Print

5 people recommended this item
Description
We've all seen the Obama prints by Shepard Fairey and while some may question the originality of his work, one cannot deny the impact and trendsetting nature of his work on the Obama `08 campaign.
Commissioned by the SF collective, Upper Playground, this Mac print is unique in it's henna tattoo style and still remains affordable, even though they were limited and signed. I am hoping for a restock soon.

Alpaca/Merino/Cashmere Hand Knit Fingerless Gloves

Description
Wow these look great. I am trying to get my roomate to knit me a beanie. I'd want this next. Great attention to detail in the patterns and I like the contrasting red and black "buttons."

Beautiful/Decay x Furni Magazine Rack
First to recommend
Description
I am not a huge fan of Beautiful/Decay (no opinion really) or Furni, but I do love magazines and new ways to display and store the 3 dozen or so I have in my apartment at any given time. With a choice between natural and dark stained wood, this would make welcomed addition to any living romo. (via Cool Hunting)

Stowa Antea 390
First to recommend
Description
Besides Switzerland, Japan and Germany are watch powerhouses as well. The later makes some amazing timepieces in both the tool and dress categories. These Stowa automatic watches have bled hands, a classic no frills dial and a date at the 6'oclock region rather than the classic 3. A simple silver case with sharp lines and a classic black leather band rounds out what I'd call a perfect segway piece for the newcomer.

No Mas - Vietcong Shirt
First to recommend
Description
I have this shirt in army green (get it?) but this white colorway is dope too. I was too politically naive to pay attention to the quote in the Will Smith drama but I certainly will next time I pop in the DVD. This shirt is simple and iconic.

Joy Division T-Shirt
First to recommend
Description
This is one of my favorite tees. I don't necessarily recommend this vendor, just this design. I got mine in Little Tokyo, on 2nd Street. It's Joy Division's album cover. No, I am not a fan, nor do I own the record. The tee's hot though.
