About this list:

It's a Super Bowl party with chips, dips, and probably pizza, but you can still make it stylish.

Football Foil Balloons

First to recommend

Description

I'm not a huge fan of balloons inside a house as decoration (might be because there are always little kids around and balloons are bad for them), but football shaped balloons tied to your mailbox or your street sign will help your guests find your house.

Super Game Day Diva Apron

Description

Though I am devastated that neither of my husbands, Peyton Manning nor Brett Favre, will be playing in the Super Bowl, I will still be watching while entertaining at a Super Bowl party.

The Haute Hostess Game Day aprons are perfect, though of course, there are only aprons for New York and New England. Since Tom Brady is a clown, I am begrudgingly cheering for the Giants with the cobalt blue apron.

And no, Eli Manning doesn't make up for it.

Hand Woven Forest Green Tablecloth

First to recommend

Description

Though the tabletop is going to be covered with grass to represent a playing field, you still need a green tablecloth to drape over the sides of the table. Paper is for the church picnic and plastic is for your kid's birthday party, so stick with a real fabric cloth to cover and protect your table.

Grass Mat

First to recommend

Description

Yes, putting artificial grass on your tabletop might look like you've misplaced your welcome mat, but it'll be a cute, contrasting background to all the white serving ware for your food. This particular mat is 6x9', so cut the mat down to the size of your tabletop. When the party's over, throw the mat out on the patio.

Green Dinner Napkins

First to recommend

Description

Beyond the fact that you'd never use your real linen napkins for a Super Bowl party, you need paper napkins because you're going to go through so many of them with all those fumble-prone finger foods. Green will match the table setting, and wrapped up with wide white ribbon, they'll even a look a little bit like the field. This set is almost $40, but you're definitely going to need all 600 napkins in the pack.

Reflections Disposable Silverware

First to recommend

Description

Since the Super Bowl is on a Sunday, the last thing you want to do is have a million things to wash the night before you have to go back to work. Reflections makes disposable flatware that doesn't look like nor feel like the flimsy white sporks you get from KFC.

Wrap a single setting of flatware in a green paper napkin, tie with a wide white ribbon, and leave them on the table for guests to help themselves around your buffet.

White Grosgrain Ribbon

First to recommend

Description

If you want to, you can use the ribbon as yard lines on a green tablecloth to create a playing field, but the real reason you need the white ribbon is to tie place settings (fork, spoon, and knife) inside a green napkin.

Galvanized Steel Tub

First to recommend

Description

Keep the guests out of the kitchen by keeping bottle of beer on ice in a steel tub by the bar instead of in the refrigerator.

Masterpiece 7.5" Disposable Plates

First to recommend

Description

Disposable plates are the way to go for a Super Bowl party, but paper will be too flimsy under the weight of all that heavy (literally) food. Masterpiece plates look almost real, and yet they're still disposable!

Description

If you have the time and patience to bake a dessert instead of buying one or asking guests to bring, Wilton's Football Pan is perfect for making a cake to fit the party.
