About this list:

This is the list to my heart and soul. WIthout music, I'd be dead. Whether I'm chilling @ 70bpm, poplocking @ 96, progg'ing @ 130, or trancing @ 140, I always have a beat going on in my vicinity.

Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones

First to recommend

Description

I love music and I love headphones that take me away from the world I'm in. Audio Technica's QuietPoint headphones do just that. These babies knock 85% of the noise just by having them ON! That's a winner in my books. Great for listening to music or just throwing them on to get some peace and quiet.

I also like the fact that it has a detachable cord..no more tripping and destroying your headphones as you walk around. (via Uncrate)

Sensear Noise Cancelling Headphones

First to recommend

Description

Not exactly the type of stuff I'd rock at the club, but sensear has put together a nice pair of headphones that will cancel out noise while enhancing voice comm and other things that you want to hear.

Sensear uses a combination of software and hardware that adds gain selectively in the direction of the speaker while blocking off noise from other directions.

They've also been nice enough to rock a bluetooth attachment, so that you can get your phones calls handsfree. (via Gizmodo)

Etymotic Research, Inc. - ER20 High Fidelity Earplugs

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

When my crew rolls out to the club to check out the big club DJs, everyone gets a pair of these. Etymotic's ER20 earplugs are perfect for the club. Rather than muffling sound the way foam ear plugs do, they drop the noise by about 20dB. Everything just sounds softer, but you can still hear your friends..and the music.

Always wear earplugs...because losing your hearing sucks.

How did it take me this long to discover Röyksopp? Melody A.M. was their first release and it's the perfect dusk music for summer time. Downtempo, wavy, dreamy, and just relaxing to get you in the mood for whatever you have planned.

My recommendations include: Eple, Poor Leno, So Easy, and Remind Me

Super Mini Sound Box

First to recommend

Description

Is that an ipod in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? This scrappy little speaker is supposed to generate some pretty big sound and bass for something half the size of an ipod. It runs on a lithium battery and is powered via USB.

Obviously, this will work with any portable audio device, but we all need to jump on the ipod accessory gravy train. (via Gizmodo)

Venzero SLICKR

First to recommend

Description

We're going to end up with a whole generation of people who don't know how to use the letter E. Following Moto's naming convention, Venzero is releasing the SLICKR: a portable multimedia device that rocks

- a 2.8" display
- fm radio
- 2GB storage
- miniSD reader (up to 2GB)
- built in speaker

Includes software like musicmarker, which allows you to record songs you hear in public and when you sync the device, it will go online and let you know what the song you recorded is.

Not a bad device, although the memory is a bit paltry. (via Engadget)
