Does your boss/colleague have everything and needs nothing? Then get them something quirky. This mood lighting thingy, I don't know what sort of creature that's supposed to be, is great because it adds a subtle light and won't over power the cubicle or corner office- that way they can pretend like they are working and being all grown up at once.

Description

This Salt and Pepper set was the first product created by the design collective, MINT. MINT consists of three successful product designers who wanted to explore their own ideas instead of their clients'.

Unfortunately their launching did not go as planned. They originally wanted to liscense out the 'Hug' design to major manufacturers and let the royalties flow in. But everyone in town turned them down, claiming it looked "too cute" to be considered modern.

The MINT guys felt confident so they turned to their last resort: manufacturing it themselves. It immidiately became the number one seller at the MoMA gift store, and MINT lived happily ever after.
