Murmur by R.E.M.

Description
This album reminds me of where I am from and where I am going. In 1989 the rem boys played a benefit concert (as they are want to do) in Georgia: They came out played Green, every single track in order, took a break, came back and played Murmur. They rocked, I rocked, we all rolled.

Description
In my more illiterate times, I thought aromatherapy was a four-letter word. The scent from an Archipelago candle is so relaxing, not heavily perfumed, but will linger in your home for hours to come. And the lights need not be dimmed to light one of these clean-burning soy candles. Caramel is my favorite.

As a journalist, you never know when you’ll need to document something – whether it is having cocktails with Johnny Depp and Hunter S. Thompson or a major oil rig fire on the freeway, my Toshiba PDR has never let me down. Both true stories, by the way...

I am in the process of buying a vintage diesel Mercedes-Benz that I will have converted to run on vegetable oil. Manufacturers, farmers, restaurants, etc. have oil in surplus that they PAY people to take away. But of course George Bush would never, ever tell you that.

I am all about ratting out Napa Valley’s best kept secret. The tasting room is located in a historic outhouse and the vines and wines are to die for. Try the Sangiovese and the Chardonnay. I often am experted to give clients gifts and this is one they don't soon forget.

These were almost the pair that got away. I tried them on, bought them, and never wore them, fretted over the cost, returned them. Saw them a year later at the Neiman Marcus outlet for 70% off. That’s one way to afford your rock-n-roll lifestyle. Great for knocking around anywhere, anytime.

I began my career in Athens, Ga. on a tiny Mac; then worked as an editor for PC Magazine. There are times in life when one should never look back. In three words: OH MY GAWD.

Description
This is my third seatbelt bag and I couldn’t be happier. It is quite the head turner and garners lots of compliments. Sturdy, practical yet oh-so-hip. After all, you don’t want to look like a total nerd using the wireless connection in the lobby of the Chateau Marmont.
