Fish Oil

Description
OK- not really a drink, but I always take these pills w/a drink so it sort of fits, right?
Alex (see the via link) firt turned me onto omega-3 fish oil. Alex does all the research and says this is the best brand so it is the one I recommend as well.
Everyone who wants to live a long, healthy life should take some fish oil supplements: myriad anti-imflammatory benefits (via Alex)

These things really seem to work and they taste pretty good too. You don't have to swill quite so much after you enduro sweat-a-thons. I hate having water slosh around my belly. (via Alyson)

DS Waters of America
First to recommend
2 people recommended this item
Description
I drink tons of water as does the rest of my family. Tap water, even in the best cities, still often has lots of junk in there that tastes bad and may not be that good for you either. A few years ago, we decided to get a water cooler for our house and have never looked back. Although it may seem a bit weird to have an office-grade cooler in your home, I highly recommend it if you drink lots of water. A cooler is a much cheaper solution than buying liter-sized bottles of water and does not produce tons of empty plastic bottles.
I like Sparkletts best: good taste, reliable delivery, healthy product, and a super-friendly and reliable staff who gets us our water on-time.

2003 DARE Cabernet Franc
First to recommend
Description
We have all heard about the health benefits of red wine (anti-oxidants, longevity, heart-health, etc). So my new favorite is Viader's Dare Cabernet Franc. Full, rich w/a complex finish. Drink up and be merry, knowing good health can taste great too ;-)

Garden of Life Perfect Food
First to recommend
Description
Truth be told, this stuff tastes pretty bad, but it is loaded w/good stuff. Drinking a glass of Perfect Food is like eating a few salads' worth of veggie goodness. I often don't get enough vegetables and, while this is not a substitute for regular veg, it is a good way to get the nutrients I might otherwise be missing.
I drink Perfect Food mixed w/Pom Blueberry juice or fresh pomegranate juice.

Red Bull Energy Drink

Description
OK- I am not sure if Red Bull is actually good, bad, or indifferent from a pure health perspective. But it sure does work. When I need to concentrate at work, having a Red Bull helps me to hyper-focus on the task at hand. A great tool to help grind thru long ppt's or other things that required extended focus.
I am less into Red Bull as something to drink during sports. When I am actually doing a sport, I can get my adrenaline going w/out the extra stimulants which I sort of find to be distracting.
That said, a Red Bull post-session is a great way to end a day of climbing, surfing, etc when you are tired but need a pick-me up, etc

The Republic of Tea Persimmon White Tea
First to recommend
4 people recommended this item
Description
I drink a lot of tea and generally prefer white tea. Like green tea, white teas contain high levels of catechins which have been linked to lowered rates of heart diseases ad cancer, as well as having potent anti-oxidant properties.
White tea also has enough caffeine to keep me up and focused when I need to work, w/out totally kicking me in the head. Good for the ADHD crowd when distractions abound.
RoT's persimmon white tea is my fav of all their white teas: high quality, comes pre-packaged in individual bags (loose teas are a hassle to deal w/), and tastes great. Persimmons, one of my favorite fruits, also may have some cholestrol-lowering properties.

POM Wonderful Pomegranate Blueberry
First to recommend
2 people recommended this item
Description
Pomegranates and blueberries both supposedly contain loads of free-radical-scrubbing anti-oxidants. That's great and I am happy this is a healthy drink, but, even if it did not have the health benefits, it would be worth drinking as it tastes great.
Straight, it can be a bit intense, but it is really good mixed w/club soda. Kids like it too.

Spicy Maya Hot Chocolate
First to recommend
3 people recommended this item
Description
A hot chocolate that mixes spicy chilis and dark chocolate will really knock your socks off. True, the mix probably contains a bit too much sucrose to qualify as a pure dark chocolate "superfood" but there is still enough in there to give you a big antioxidant wallop. Also, chilis both mix well w/chocolate and contain capsaicin which has anti-inflammatory benefits, one of the keys to slowing the human aging process.
At the end of the day, you might just love this stuff because it is absolutely delicious and can keep you going when you are tired.
