I am a huge fan of Swedish rock (Backyard Babies, Hellacopters, Hardcore Superstar, to name but a few). Diamond Dogs are one of my favorites! Somehow it seems that here in the States we have forgotten how to have fun and just ROCK! Well, these guys never forgot. If you take a good dose of the Stones circa Exlie on Main Street and mix with some Faces you will get an idea of what the Diamond Dogs sound like. I hear they are amazing live, although I have yet to see them here in the States! Get this CD and fall in love with these guys like I have!

This is one of my favorite all time CD's. It never ever leaves my car (and is also on my computer and iPod). If you have never heard of the Backyard Babies, I'm here to tell you they are Swedish, they rock harder than any band I know of and they are just fantastic. While all of their CD's are great, this one is my favorite. The singer Nicke's voice sounds similar to Mike Ness (although he definitely has his own sound and style). And can we discuss Dregen for a moment? Dregen is the guitarist and is simply put a Guitar God (and he wears Creepers which has nothing to do with how great this CD is but how I do love a man who wears Creepers). Make sure to get the Import version of this which has two bonus tracks, Babylon (with Ginger from the Wildhearts) and Rocker (with Mike Monroe from Hanoi Rocks). This is one of those CDs that is amazing from start to finish. My fav. tracks are Let's Go to Hell, Bombed and Rocker! Check these guys out and see why Swedish rock rules!

Another fantastic Swedish rock band. They are heavy yet melodic at the same time. The don't have quite the same punk edge as my beloved Backyard Babies, but they rock just the same. This is their first CD, and my favorite by them. My fav. songs are You Will Never Know and Bubblecum Ride. I also like Liberation (and I really, really hate slow songs...however this one is slow yet it rocks....no slow jam sing along lighter song here).

Yet another amazing Swedish rock band. These is my fav. CD by them. They can rock hard yet are melodic at the same time. If my life had a soundtrack, Mother One Track Mind would be on it.

Yes they are from Sweden and yes they rock! Think AC/DC (Bon Scott era (as if there was any other) meets early KISS. With that being said these guys definitely have their own unique sound. This is a great CD from start to finish!

Tyla (frontman for the Dogs D'Amour and poet extrordinaire) and guitarist extrodinaire Dregen (from the Backyard Babies)! These two together are just amazing. They do some Tyla songs, some Dogs D'Amour songs and some Backyard Babies songs (which Tyla really makes his own). This was their drunken tour through Scandinavia and I believe Spain.

Description
Early material from one of my fav. bands on the planet, Sweden's Diamond Dogs. If you love the Faces, etc. you will definitely love the Diamond Dogs. My fav. song on this one is the title track, Bound to Ravage. It has a mean slide guitar that I just adore!

These amazing Swedes are part of that they call the neo-mod movement. If you love early Who and Rolling Stones, you are sure to love these guys! There must be something in the water, because every Swedish band I hear just rocks their asses off! These guys are no different!
