I'm thinking it's time to downsize and what a purse to downsize to but this blue satin satchel from Christian Louboutin. Blue and gold compliment each other nicely in this pleated bag. I enjoy the fact that it has a clasp, as the worst thing that can happen with a purse is spilling all over everything.

Description

I'm always on the fence about one shouldered items. They seem to look so good on models and yet, I'm never sure how they'll look on me. This dress though looks like it's a winner. It's blue is that wonderful dark turquoise blue that is slightly slimming and the pattern is interesting and not just another flower.

Every women is a bit of a mystery waiting to be unwrapped and what better way to show that then by wearing this off the shoulder bow dress from Jean Paul Gaultier. This blue is so different than most blue we see and the dress is innocent and pretty...a nice contrast to the skin baring ware most people dress up in today.

I think part of the reason I love ballet flats so much is that I don't really like sneakers, thus if I want to be wearing flats, ballet flats are the most charming option. These suede ballet flats are absolutely perfect. From the deep blue to the symmetric bow I'm in love!

My stepmother had one of these as a decoration in one of our bathrooms growing up. All I remember of it was that it was so opalescent and shiny. This blue piggy bank is even more shiny as it has little gems on the ears, nose and feet. A great gift for a new baby or for those that are a kid at heart.

Description

There is something very medieval or renaissance about this necklace. It looks like something a Medici would wear. David Yurman always does make interesting jewelry. The blue and silver play together so nicely and the little blue beads on the chain make it a bit more casual. Overall, amazing.

Well, since I've already recommended the earrings and the bracelet how could I help but recommend the ring (a set is a set after all). This ring is nice on it's own, but together with the drop earrings and bracelet it would be stunning. I like the old British or is it Pictish feel to the ring and can just imagine how pretty it would be on my finger.

I think the 60s might be trying their turn at coming back. This printed blue summer dress certainly makes me think so. First off this dress takes a summer lagoon blue and then layers light and frothy shapes on top of it. It's a summer minidress that is very mod and very ready to be worn now.

I'm not sure why but this dress vaguely reminds me of a stewardess. Since I'm in love with airline travel that makes it an awesome dress. I like the length (just at the knee), the short sleeves, the pockets and the row of buttons. All in all an amazing dress.

If I had to pick my favorite color I'd probably end up saying pink...because pink can be so flexible in everything from pale baby pink to a deep almost purple magenta. But truthfully, my favorite shade is navy blue. And this coat with it's double breasted row of gold buttons is very nearly my favorite coat that I've seen this season.

One of things I've loving about the blue trend is that in order to let the blue shine, a lot of the dimension in a garment is being done through shaping. Take for instance this dress, there isn't a bit of embroidery, pattern or sparkle throughout the entire dress. However, there is a nicely shaped dress with a faux bubble. It drapes, it's pretty and it's blue.

This blue right here, the not quite turquoise, the not quite lagoon, the not quite seawater is such a good color! I'd love this dress for the color alone, but in addition to the color it's actually quite a fun dress. It looks like it would be comfortable just kicking around on a lazy summer day.

In the fall and winter I wear skirts by the dozen, in the spring and summer it's dresses. And this navy blue dress looks like it would be an excellent addition to anyone's summer wardrobe. It's nice to see blue come out and play this season. I like seeing all the different shades. Like this shade, which isn't quite dark and isn't quite light. Never the less it makes a good summer dress. The peek a boo key hole is sultry without being slutty and the length (knee length) means it's a dress that keeps it's cool.

This shirt keeps you all wrapped up, no neck, no wrist nothing but blue. It might just be me, but with the excess of skin in fashion today there is something seductive about being covered and there is something intriguing about this shirt. And in such a deep blue it hints at hidden depths.

Ooh! Two trends for the price of one...first the glorious blue that's ever so eighties. And if, this mascara does what it says it does...who can say no to having your eye color accentuated. I definitely have to try this!
