Talib Kweli is a hip hop artist that is not to be missed. He was part of the group Blackstar that also featured MosDef and DJ Hi Tek, he came up with the cred.
Not one to fill his rhymes with rides, rims and hos, his body of work is socially conscious and meaningful. this DVD also features an appearance by KRS-One, plus a lot of others who's names faded in my memory after KRS-One was named.
Get out and get this DVD. and get schooled. you'll definitely feel higher learning from it (via Taleb Kweli)

This is my most favorite movie ever. Beautiful cinematography coupled with one of the best directors in Japan, it even scored IFC's top 10 most scary scenes the year it came out.

Not a first date kind of movie though. But perhaps the perfect post breakup movie ever made. (via amazon)

I really dig this tv series, James Caan, Vanessa Marcil, Josh Duhamel, and the rest of the gorgeous cast is completely entertaining and i just love me some Vegas.
