I used to ask candidates what their favorite movie was and if they'd ever heard of Equilibrium. An answer in the positive gave them a slight favor in my book. An incredible movie that is like 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and the Hong Kong martial arts all rolled into one.

The fighting style, Gun Kata, stands apart from all the other movies of the time which were all obsessed with modeling themselves after "The Matrix."

Watch this movie and prepare for your mind to be blown. But whatever you do, don't watch Ultraviolet which is this director's follow-up which was supposed to be new and improved but is actually quite lame.
