WhiteWave Seitan
First to recommend
Description
I discovered cooking with seitan this year, and I love it. It cooks up really quickly and easily, has the texture of chicken, and adds some nice protein and bulk to any dish. Highly recommended, especially for folks who miss having something to sink their teeth into.

Ecoganik

Description
I notice ThisNext has only one Ecoganik item listed, but I own countless items from this brand...tees, yoga pants, dresses, jackets, skirts etc. etc. Comfortable and good for the planet. What could be better.

Aveda - products that nurture. collections. be curly(tm). be curly(tm) curl control
First to recommend
Description
This is the best of the Aveda Be Curly products. Curly hair is typically dry hair...which means every day washing isn't needed or even advisable. having something that works well on dry hair is imperative, and this does do the trick.

I have two of their watches, and am working my way up to a bag or two. As a vegan I don't buy or wear leather, so these hip items make vinyl seem unbearably cool!

Kittypod Cat Furniture.

Description
OK, it's a bit high end even for my taste, but I love the design and functionality of these scratching posts by designer Elizabeth Paige Smith. When I'm rich my cat is going to be the first to reap the benefit with one of these Kittypods!

Seal and Send Invitations
First to recommend
Description
I find the concept of fancy wedding invitations with a million inserts and enclosures really wasteful, yet no one supports me in the idea of doing a completely web-oriented invitation and RSVP system. My compromise is to use these tri-fold invitations that take up less paper and give you the option of using their "Environment" line, which is 100% recycled materials.

Certaintees Storefront

Description
CertainTEES are message tees with a difference, not only because the messages are about important themes around social and eco-justice, but because CERTAINTEES uses sustainable fibers, recycling, low-impact packaging and shipping, carbon-offsetting and follows other socially responsible business practices.

Welcome to Harvey's Home of the Original Seatbeltbag

Description
I just think these are a cool use of a familiar material. I don't think that these are really re-using materials at this point, but they are made in the USA, and they are of a nice, durable quality that discourages thinking of fashion as a throwaway concept.

Brilliant Earth Diamond Jewelry
First to recommend
Description
This is where I got my engagement ring, which we were able to design ourselves. The diamonds are Canadian, and are guaranteed not to be contributing to labor injustice, violence or monopolistic practices. The metals are derived from sustainable and recycled sources. A percentage of profits is donated to a charitable organization helping communities in Africa harmed by the diamond trade. And their service was above and beyond the call of duty.

Recycled Aluminum Tab Messenger Bag
First to recommend
Description
This bag is the single best word-of-mouth generator I've ever owned. Every single time I wear it people ask about it, want to hold it (to see if it's heavy, which it isn't) and ask where, when and how much I got it for. if yo don't mind your purse being the center of attention, then you'll love having this bag.
