Having grown up and lived in a land-locked state my entire life, my heart really does long for the sea. It doesn't matter if it's the murky brown waters of Galveston or the crystal clear blue waters on the Hawaiian beaches, I love the ocean and everything about it. (Okay, maybe not the sharks, sting rays, and jellyfish... but they're alright when they're behind a thick wall of glass.) Cute, summery, and fun!

Ok, so this kind of reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean... remember that guy whose head looked like an octopus? Only this necklace isn't half as creepy as that guy, and it'd be a great statement piece to make your outfit stand out among all the others.

So I have a total hate-hate relationship with bobby pins. My hair is too fine for them to hold onto much and too slippery for them to grip... which can be a bit of a pain. Instead, I use these style clips to smooth down fly-aways and clip back little sections of my hair... and I have to admit that these hair clips are just too adorable! Very summer, very retro.

I've had an obsession with mermaids since the first time I saw The Little Mermaid. I always wanted to be Ariel, but mostly because of her beautiful red hair (and, of course, her prince)... but this necklace takes me back to those days without looking childish. Great pieces put together and it's a great length -- 18"! Perfect for summer.

I love this anchor necklace. The crystals give it a little extra glam and it definitely screams spring/summer. And for all you kiddos wishing you could still buy the Betsey Johnson anchor necklace in Confessions of a Shopaholic, this is a pretty good replacement. Sure, it's not as large, but it would make the same statement, only less obviously.

This necklace is fun and silly and definitely great for summer. The pendant itself hangs 2-1/2 inches in length and comes with a silver-colored tin chain that is 20" long. Probably the biggest anchor pendant I've seen since Betsey Johnson's anchor necklace that appeared on Confessions of a Shopaholic.
