This is how I discovered I wanted to be a sound garden groupie. The soundtrack to the movie single is wonderful but the film is so so, a bit boring. This was romantic comedy that made more sense in the last five years than it did in 1992 when I was just beginning to understand what or who I was going to be. The movie is set in Seattle with you guessed it a soundtrack of grunge (except for Nirvana). I mean, the soundtrack starts with “Would” by Alice in Chains and ends with “Drown” by the Smashing Pumpkins. In between, you get tracks from Pearl Jam, Sound garden, and Mudhoney. Overall I recommend the album because music is never dated but the film, gosh I can start hating the 90s again because of it.

Killing Joke: Albums, Songs, Bios, Photos

First to recommend

Description

Was just listening to the Eighties by the Killing Joke. One of those alternative bands that absolutely make sense in today's day and age. The music is danceable and dark (my kind of movement).

Louder Than Bombs: The Smiths

First to recommend

Description

In March 1987 the album was released. May 1987, it reached number 38 on the British charts. In 2003, the album was ranked number 365 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA in 1990. In 1992 I was happily depressed and in love with album.
