Description
Many dogs do not get the opportunity to use their natural instinct for mental exercise. Mental stimulation not only provides a fuller life for our canine companions, but it is also vital in the prevention of almost all behavioral problems. A contented dog often means a happier owner.
Today, most dogs live solely as companions and very few are offered the opportunity to carry out the tasks of tracking, hunting, and herding that breeds were originally developed for. There is no question about the love that dog owners have for their pups, but many owners just don't have the available space and/or time to provide this level of stimulation.
Many dogs are indoor, and indoor activities are not that interesting for these canine creatures. A bored dog usually lies down in one particular spot where he/she can watch us in hopes for something exiting like feeding time, play time or walk time. These are often the MOST exciting events in a dog’s life. How fair is that? The more a dog rests and watches, the more pent up energy he has. If this energy is not used, it usually results in various behavioral disorders such as chewing, jumping, barking, and aggression.
This toy helps to address three levels of a dog's natural abilities; problem solving, sense of smell and mental stimulation. But don't become frustrated if your pooch doesn't immediately play with the Buster Cube. You have to interact with your dog and the toy together the first few times to get him interested. A dog imitates its Alpha dog and pack mates...which is where we humans fall in the hierarchy. If we show interest in the toy, often they will do the same.
So, get your dog's mental juices pumping!! It will help improve your relationship with your dog, and keep him active and avoid or decrease behavioral problems. (via Alien Ally, LLC)

You know what's going in to the treats and you can make them as healthy as you like. Plus if your dog is finicky, then you can add or subtract ingredients based on your dog's taste preferences. Also great for dogs with allergies because you can leave out those pesky allergens that make your pup sick!!

Drinkwell Aqua Garden

I love keeping fresh greens around for my girls to munch on when they feel the need to hack up a nice barf for me to clean up. Hey it's nature's way. Well I have a DrinkWell because they only drink running water and I decided running the faucet all day was not only expensive but very UN eco-friendly!
I found these Aqua Garden pods and now they always have fresh greens available. It also acts as another filter and helps keep the water from getting slimy. It's easy, just clip the pod with the seeds inside onto the water dish ensuring that it's covered by the water and wait a few days. When the grass dies or is eaten, just put more seeds inside!

Pet Alive by Native Remedies

I just found a line of all natural, homeopathic pet remedies!! I was so excited because there aren't too many small businesses that can compete with big pharmaceutical companies. I did a bunch of research on these products and recommended one particular product to my step mom whose cat has Epilepsy. She hasn’t started her on it yet, but I will post the update when she does!
I am concerned most of all with safety. The intended recipients of these products are our furry little companions. This site ranks site safety:

The FDA is pissed at Native Remedies LLC because they are “claiming” that these products can prevent, cure and help in the treatment of all kinds of different diseases. If you ask me, the reason the FDA is pissed is because they aren’t profiting from this company like they do from Pfizer or Merck.

Nature's Miracle cat litter

Victoria and Violette, my two little cats, helped get me on the path to a "Greener" life. I started the ~all natural~ journey with them. They had a rough life until I rescued them and I vowed to take the best care of them that I possibly could. It started with a species appropriate diet, thanks to Tracy at Hare-Today Gone Tomorrow. The next logical step after food was waste.
I thought Swheat Scoop was where it was at!! Seemed healthy, all natural, and sustainable. What I didn't realize was that the high dust content was aggravating Victoria's sensitive nose. From the time I adopted Vicki, she has had a bit of a runny nose. It seems to get worse when the temperature changes (seasons). She's been to vet and specialists…which isn't cheap...and they haven't come up with a viable solution to the problem.
The switch in diet helped quite a bit. But I knew I could do more. So, while I was researching products to offer on my website, I found Nature’s Miracle. Sounded good to me, like Swheat Scoop, so I bought a bag.
The day it arrived I emptied the old litter and scrubbed out the box. When I opened the bag, I was surprised at the smell. It was better than I thought it would be. When I poured it into the box I was equally surprised at the lack of dust, that I had become accustomed to using Swheat Scoop.
After a little less than a week I noticed that Victoria wasn't sneezing. She doesn't sneeze all the time, but she sneezed enough that I noticed when the sneezing stopped. Not a bad start! I also noticed that the clean up was easier.
OCD me says YAY!!! The consistency of Nature's Miracle is finer...not like dust...but smaller bits, so I noticed that they didn't track it out of the box and all over my house like before.
The odor control "enzymes" seemed to do their job. I noticed that when I slacked off, the Swheat Scoop litter let the ammonia smell become more noticeable...not Nature's Miracle!! I can go a whole week, with two cats on a raw foods diet before I have to scoop. I wouldn't recommend going any longer. The sooner you get the smell out of the box, the longer the litter lasts, and the better the odor protection! When I'm good with scooping, one bag can last a whole month!!!
