Steve is on a HUGE vinyl kick lately, and Japan's TOUMA has quickly become one of his Top Three favorite toy designers!
This new mini-figure assortment from vinyl stalwarts Kidrobot pretty well nails it for us. The sinister grins, the bizarre character designs, and top-notch quality control on the paints and sculpts. It's a winner!
Yay TOUMA!

Description
We're totally in love with the whole DIY toy thing that's building up steam, and this guy is a perfect way to let your kids get creative!
About 9 inches tall, the Plushform is a blank plush figure whose outer shell is made of a sort of pre-primed canvas material. So you can paint, draw, doodle, sew, or iron-on pretty much anything you want and have a fun little plushie that you made yourself!
Way better than getting some kind of licensed crap based on whatever movie came out this week, this lets your kids do something cool for themselves!!
Woo hoo!!

rikrak ::: modern patchwork bibs

Description
I love aprons. Specifically vintage aprons. I love them even more when they're quilted. There's something so dainty and feminine about them while at the same time giving you license to spill things all over yourself.
And what's a bib but a tiny apron for your neck?
These vintage-esque patchwork bibs from rikrak are beautiful and dainty and sturdy all at the same time. Putting one one your baby makes you feel as though you have a handy, crafty, gramma who also happens to have impeccable taste in fabrics.
