The mighty and noble Triceratops were one of the last dinosaurs to succumb to extinction, due in large part to their knowledge of advanced survival technique. They were also tough as nails, really smart, and they all smelled like cinnamon.

But this is a pretty rad kids belt, handmade, and it's got dinosaurs all over it. DINOSAURS!

Operated with only two sticks, this excellent shadow puppet is easy for kids, and totally addictive for adults.

Lets face facts, shall we? Everyone loves dinosaurs. Dinosaurs and sandwiches are just two things that no human being can say they don't like.

And as much as Steve is loath to admit it, his hand/finger shadowpuppets of dinosaurs really kinda suck. They are certainly nowhere near as good as this.

Raising three kids not to be dependent on television is more than a little challenging! We stay really active with our kids, but sometimes they just have to be able to occupy themselves, and lets face it...setting the 2-year old loose with a fistful of crayons usually ends in disaster.

Thank you, They Might Be Giants, for giving us something educational and fun that doesn't suck for adults to listen to! (Over and over and over and over and....)

Steve's been a fan of TMBG for a long time, and routinely hums "The Sun Is A Mass..." while milling about the house while he's supposed to be cleaning. Now he can share one of his favorite bands for over 10 years with his kids...and we don't feel like we're letting crappy cartoons babysit the kids!
