I'm so tired and embarrased when I serve salads in my old salad bowls. I like to add thing to my salad that should be seen. Greens on one side, roasted beats and gorganzola on the other with a side of orange zest or peppers. I can never make a proper presentation with my current old ones. This is my favorite tray for every day entertaining. I have informal dinners at my house all the time. I have multitudes of these trays. They are flat, not heavy. They store and clean easily and they look fabulous no matter what you put on them. I use them for cheese trays, bread trays, fruit trays and so much more. who opens a bottle of wine and deson't finish it?!? not me, but if, perchance, by some unlucky alignment of the stars, have to leave a little bit of wine in the bottle, you absolutely must seal it with the vacu vin wine saver. suck out the nasty air, then seal it up until tomorrow night, when you do it all over again!
