I'm just minding my business at the health food store and I see this name on a car beside me. I wrote it down and discovered some talented gals right in my own backyard! (mother/daughters).

They use their OWN design to make gorgeous bags from re-purposed products...this one is created with coffee burlap bags, neckties and linen, and is smaller so it can be used as a purse or multi-purpose bag.

I loved this necklace for the same reason I love the combination of thick hosta leaves accented by the feathery plumes of astilbe...there's an aesthetic beauty when combining opposites. Here, the chunky turquiose leather is the hosta and the detailed metalworking is the astilbe.

Oh, lest i forget that the artist is donating a portion of all sales for an unknown time to Light One Little Candle Foundation to help provide children's books to adult cancer patients around the country so they can read to their kids during hospital visits (via coolmompicks).

WOW~! That should be the name. When I read wood wedge I didn't have an elegant image, but this is exactly what these are! Art for the feet.
Change the way they are laced to wear an entirely different shoe the next day! Stil not impressed? Each one is handmade! (gotcha now, huh?)

You've got to check out the website to see all the different ways these can be laced. You won't belive your eyes!
