Blink is another paradigm-changing book from Malcom Gladwell. Blink focuses on how and why people make quick decisions. Blink discusses the heuristics people have evolved biologically and culturally to help us navigate thru the myriad choices necessary in daily life.

Witty, breezy, and well researched/organized, Blink is a pleasure to read. If you are at all interested in how people think, Blink is essential reading (and is a great way to avoid having to read all the primary psychology and sociology research Gladwell nicely summarizes for his readers) (via cath)

Anyone can squeeze out 15 minutes of their day to do something healthy for themselves, particularly when it is as simple as following along with the included audio cd!

I love this approach to an ancient practice. Author Bright-Fey really makes tai chi accessible and fun. I started learning New Forest Tai Chi over 10 years ago and I still love it!!!!! Unlike other styles that I'd been interesting in, this one really stuck with me and has become a sanity saver for me.

The accompanying cd walks you through it and provides great imagery and visuals that will stick with you through out your day. Very accessible and appropriate for anyone who is interested in meditation, no matter how experienced or novice.

A Morning Cup of Meditation provides a great opportunity to start your day with a breath of fresh air and a moment of clarity.

Description

Somewhat surprisingly, it's actually a great film. Not that Will Farrell isn't great, I just wasn't expecting it. However, it turned out to be quite the charming story and solid proof of Farrell's range.
