The Guy List - a list by nanashi

About this list:
Suits rock. So do ties, and trousers and all the other business attire items that hips young things have recently hipster-ized. Being a girl, I find it hard to find girl clothing that has the same KA tailoring that you find in menswear that wouldn't look resoundingly silly on me. So, I have assembled this nice little list of some fantastic menswear that I will never be able to wear, due to a sense of self-preservation. Hopefully someone who can look good in these clothes will find this list useful.
Qualifications:
I'm not above living vicariously through others.

David – Bow Tie Pattern

Description
Three defining features of your classic art student: creative, fashionable, dead broke. Two outta three ain't bad, I guess. The only problem is living up to the first two qualifications when your wallet's empty. The solution? Use that creativity and download one of the free (or cheap) stylish sewing patterns from burdastyle.com like the David bow tie pattern (free, btw) and set those basic sewing skills to work! This tie is reasonably easy to make, and looks oh-so-adorable in that geek-chic way. And better yet, no one will have one exactly the same as yours.

Century Mod Fit Sweater

I love cardigans. There like crack (says the sober non-user). I've got like five. I get a new one practically each week. I work crappy hours to afford them. I refer to them in slang (and I quote: "hey man, wanna score some cardis?"). I don't know where to stop. I have no use for this cardigan. It's for guys. But I love it. It fits like a blazer and looks beyond cool over top a dress shirt.

Waterloo Panel Dot

I love the contrasting knot on this tie. It's really sweet. As far as somber suits go, a slash of grey on black makes a much better statement than a wide orange tie.

A fantastic fitted blazer done in a sleek pinstripe from Ben Sherman. The slim collar, and rounded silhouette look super modern, and super hot.
