Riedel Duck Decanter

Description
There's something sort of endearing about a wine decanter called the "Duck." I like the low-slung look--it's a totally unstuffy decanter.

Metrokane V1 Vacuum Decanter
6 people recommended this item
Description
The style (and functionality) of classic wine decanters combined with the convenience of a vacuum seal. Completely solves my dilemma about cracking open those special bottles that need a little breathing time...but that I'm not sure I'll be able to finish in one sitting. I dig that it looks like something you'd find in a science lab.

Eisch Glas Rapid Cooling Decanter

Description
Oooh! This is one of the most elegant wine decanters I've seen yet. It looks like a display-version of a very expensive bottle of perfume. (I'm sure the serious oenophiles are rolling their eyes right about now.)
The rapid cooling is fantastic, since at least one of the ladies in my wine--ahem--book club will forget her beverage contribution until she's 2 blocks away and grabs a warm bottle of white from the corner store. Knowing our love of books, we need every bottle ready to drink as quickly as possible.

Vinturi Wine Aerator

Description
I've heard the Vinturi wine aerator makes any bottle that much better - from Charles Shaw to Napa's finest, it will take your reds to their true potential. Confession: I bought this as a gift for a wine aficionado and have been waiting to get my own. Plus, at $40ish, this will impress the most high-end of your wino friends and you won't have to splurge for a $100+ bottle!

Orbital Wine Decanter

Description
These wine decanters remind me of Weebles (wobble but they don't fall over) for grown-ups! The stainless steel bases add a little modern flair and helps these guys fit right in with the rest of my barware.

Jan Barboglio Wine Decanter

Description
This was one of my absolute favorite wedding gifts! We got a couple other wine decanters, but this rustic Jan Barboglio is truly a piece of art. The etched glass is hand blown and the iron wrought stopper must weigh a good 12 ounces.

Barrique Wine Decanter with Cork Ball Lid
2 people recommended this item
Description
The design geek in me loves the repetition of the ball shape in the basin and the cork. While wine decanters are generally intended for reds in need of a little time to "open up," a crisp, dry white sure looks sharp in this number.

Decanter magazine
5 people recommended this item
Description
While I sorta wish this magazine was only about wine decanters (because that would be ridiculously niche-oriented) it's actually a pretty cool alternative to some of the more traditional wine mags. Which makes it a good gift subscription for the wine lover in your life who probably already has a dog-eared stack of back issues of Wine Spectator.

Riedel Vinum decanter
2 people recommended this item
Description
There are a lot of fancy wine decanters out there, but sometimes the simplest one fits the bill. This decanter lets the Burgundy be the star instead of the upstaging the wine.

Great Pyramid Decanter 9"

Description
Totally into the chemistry-set-meets-fragrance bottle vibe. It's the Tina Fey of wine decanters: geeky (in the best possible way) and really pretty.
