Gaiam Collapsible Yoga Mat Bag

Description
This yoga mat prop is fantastic. First, it's lightweight and has an adjustable strap, so I can tote my mat to class on my bike. It's also a pretty smart design, with the mesh allowing the mat to dry after those particularly intense ashtanga classes.

15-Minute Workouts for Dummies
First to recommend
Description
One of the best workout videos that I've tried so far. The 15 minute targeted section are perfect for alternating strength training with aerobic/cardio workouts. They routines are fast and effective-you'll see and feel results in no time if you stick with it. One downside--the "warm-up" routines are extrememly fast moving and, with little instruction, hard to follow--may take a while to pick up.
From the site: Beginning exercisers with busy schedules can shape and strengthen their bodies with four separate 15-minute workouts, each targeting a specific set of muscles: arms, abs, thighs, and buns.

JumpSnap - The Ropeless Jump Rope
First to recommend
Description
I've been working out steadily for a while--6 days a week, 30-60 minutes a day. I'm no pro, but I'm no slouch, either. I try to keep things interesting with a variety of workouts-aerobics, strength training, yoga...You name it, I've tried it.
I'd read that jump-roping was one of the best full-body aerobic workouts you could do, but with a small house, and very little inclination to jump rope outside in the cold, a regular jump rope wasn't real practical for me. So, I was thrilled to find the JumpSnap, a "ropeless" jump rope. I recently got one, and woo-wee, this workout definitely packs a punch. Comes with a DVD with an 8 and 12 minute workout routine. I've only tried the 8 minute so far, but I was huffing and puffing 5 minutes in. This is a perfect option for days where I don't have time for a full 30 or 60 minute workout, and easily portable for workouts on the go.
One negative comment I have is that the workouts do not include a warm up or cool down/stretching period, which I find odd. I think everyone would agree that it's not a great idea to jump into an intense workout without warming up, or to just stop without gradually bringing down the heart rate. This can cause injuries and muscle stiffness...make sure to do this on your own if using these DVD's!
