Cadbury Chocolate Flakes

First to recommend

Description

Every year when I go back to Ireland I get a request from all our Irish friends on this side of the pond- BRING BACK FLAKES. BOXES AND BOXES OF FLAKES! Sigh. I literally load up on cases of chocolate at duty free on my way home. Thank god they're now available here. So those of you who always ask? Bugger off.

Now, once you've secured this most gorgeous of candy products, what can you do with it? Well, eat it comes to mind. But be careful- the name is a clue. It really will flake and crumble in your mouth and, if not careful, all over your clothes.

Or crumble it all up and sprinkle it on ice cream for a tasty treat. And if you make it over to the Emerald Isle, stop by one of the many petrol stations with a big fake cone in front and ask for a "99"- that's a soft-serve vanilla cone with a Flake poking out a la the picture I added. Yum.
