Thunderbird Mexican Blanket
First to recommend
Description
These are the only blankets we use at our studio. They are so comfy and I like them a lot more than the wool alternatives. Made of a blend of acrylic, polyester, and cotton, these are sure to please.
Blankets are really important to ensure a safe practice. You should have at least 3 to support yourself during shoulderstand. They're great to spread over yourself, too, during savasana. I always place a rolled up blanket under me knees in savasana to take the pressure off of my lower back.

Gaiam Cork Block & Hemp Strap Combo
First to recommend
Description
Cork blocks are way more eco-friendly than their foam alternatives. They are 100% natural. And a hemp strap is also eco-friendly as well. A block and a strap are essential for practice - the block helps you in certain poses to balance and avoid injury while the strap is great for stretching. Hook it over the bottom of your foot while laying down, and pull the foot up for a great stretch.
Essentials that are eco-friendly. A must have for anyone looking into a home practice.
