About this list:
Just some of the many movies I enjoy. I keep forgetting to tag movies I recommend under this. So, it's not complete by any means.
Into the Wild

Description
One of the few movies I've seen that actually does the book justice. It's a breathtakingly beautiful film, with a heartbreaking story. it's well worthy of all the praise.

Stranger Than Fiction

Description
quirky, thought provoking, funny, great movie. I'm not a big Will Ferrell fan, so i was skeptical of his foray into a different kind of movie genre. This isn't slapstick or his usual physical comedy - instead it really delivers great characters and a compelling story. I can guarantee you haven't ever seen anything exactly like this before!

March of the Penguins

Description
Really, it's one of the better documentaries in recent years. I know, penguins walking, how much fun could that be? A lot, actually. It's truly heartfelt and, at times, heart breaking. But, in the end, it is nothing short of magnificent.

Description
I'm probably the 789th person to recommend this film. But, do you know what? Who cares. It's a great movie. Sure, it may have gotten a little too much love, but I still like it -- Ahem, I love it,

I'll just say this, at one point they bring a cardboard cutout of George W. Bush on stage to pray over. If that doesn't sell you on the film, I don't know what will

Happy Gilmore

Description
This is my dad's favorite movie so, in the late 90's I watched it countless times. The great thing about it is that it didn't matter how many times I watched it, I still laughed out loud every time

Description
I went to a movie last weekend and saw Elisabeth Shue. Later, I go on to find out that she is blatantly mocked in Hamlet 2. It got me thinking, she was in some great films. This one sticks out as something I watched constantly as a child.

Probably one of the most overrated films of my entire college career. But only because people freaked out so much. I mean, it's a damn fine film, just not the secon Graduate... c'mon!

Description
"Everything. OK! I'll talk! In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max's toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog... When my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out... But the worst thing I ever done - I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life."

Description
Probably one of the more honest depictions of the complete lack of credibility in relationships. This is how not to act. But, it's still a joy to see.
