Char-Broil Big Easy - Oilless Infrared Turkey Fryer
4 people recommended this item
Description
You told yourself that this would be the year. 2007 would be the year that you would finally give in to your family's pleas and try...a deep-fried turkey for Thanksgiving.
Too bad your cardiologist just decreed a life free of fried foods.
There's a happy medium for everyone with the Char-broil Big Easy, which cooks an entire turkey with the same deliciously crispy, caramelized outcome of a regular deep-fat fryer, but WITHOUT OIL. How can that be, you ask? We don't really know either, but we trust the engineers who use infrared technology to perform the magic.
Get one early. Never hurts to have a couple practice go 'rounds before the Big Day.

Description
Corn. Snow. Oh yeah, and that friend of yours who never returns your calls.
We all have a few flakes in our lives, some less desirable than others, but GOLD flakes are always welcome, particularly when you're special enough to eat them.
Gold Flake Chopsticks are wooden chopsticks that are packaged with tiny gold flakes between the sticks. When you pull the sticks apart over your plate, sparkling gold flakes sprinkle down over your food, adding that last bit of luxurious garnish to your blue fin tuna sashimi.
Or bowl of ramen.

Description
We love the macho look of a giant Weber with all the hardware, and who could resist a cute Green Egg? But if you're "fancy" like that, you want Kalamazoo's Sculpture Series Stainless Steel Gourmet Grill. She's a beauty AND a beast.
Each Sculpture grill is patriotically hand-built in the USA. The grill offers a unique combination of serious grilling performance and artful curves of blended hand-welded, hand-polished stainless steel.
Hold onto your steaks. Dangerous curves ahead...

Eisch Glas Rapid Cooling Decanter

Description
Oooh! This is one of the most elegant wine decanters I've seen yet. It looks like a display-version of a very expensive bottle of perfume. (I'm sure the serious oenophiles are rolling their eyes right about now.)
The rapid cooling is fantastic, since at least one of the ladies in my wine--ahem--book club will forget her beverage contribution until she's 2 blocks away and grabs a warm bottle of white from the corner store. Knowing our love of books, we need every bottle ready to drink as quickly as possible.

Monogrammed Steak Brand

Description
When you shared a room, you taped a line on the floor that he couldn't cross. You put nametags on your clothes and sticky notes on your gear. When you and your brother were growing up, what's yours is your and what's his is his.
No chance for mix-up, and if there was, someone was going to get grounded.
Clearly, you never grew out of this habit of labeling "your stuff," and the Monogrammed Steak Brand from Williams-Sonoma even lets you take your name to the table. The brand is made of iron, hand-forged in Texas, and allows two- and three-letter initials.
That just means you can't put "MINE."
