Crazy Shirts: Declaration Crew Neck T-Shirt
First to recommend
Description
As we approach the beginning of the Olympic games and, subsequently, the 2008 Presidential Election, I like to think about what it is that we stand for as Americans. This "Declaration" tee pretty much sums it up for me in a cool typographic design.

Lonely Planet: Beijing Travel Guidebook Pack
First to recommend
Description
This three-book pack includes a Mandarin phrasebook, an encounter guide (for a quick overview of the city) and an in-depth travel guide. If you can spare the change to make the trip, you'll be glad you made this small but significant investment. You will see more, enjoy more and take better pictures. Title Nine: Women's Elusive Goggles II
First to recommend
Description
All swimmers wear them, but not all goggles wear the swimmer. They slip, they slide, they squish. Not these. These are comfortable for long distances, and perfect for those who like to take more than a few laps in the pool or water. The 2008 Summer Olympics will include an open-water swimming event for both men and women. And comfortable goggles will be a necessity. Representing the U.S.: Mark Warkentin and Chloe Sutton.

Some of the fastest feet in the world (specifically, sprinters from Sweden, Jamaica and Morocco) will be wearing these Pumas in Beijing. The great news is that the Puma store is online, open 24/7 . . . wherever you are, whatever your talent, you too feel a little bit like an Olympian with a pair of these brilliantly colored trainers. Official Beijing Olympic Store: Shaking Funny Fuwa Toy Set
First to recommend
Description
The Fuwa are the ambassadors of the XXIX Olympiad. Each of the five characters has a unique personality and positive attribute (in addition to being irresistibly adorable). They may turn out to be more popular than the athletes themselves.
