About this list:
These are things I would have if I made an actual salary. I'd rather not do an actual salaried job, because I wouldn't have time to buy these things--but if I could, they would be thus.

Description
Alrighty. A friend came to visit me driving this puppy, and it was the strangest, coolest ride I have ever had. First off, you can drive it like a bat out of hell and it still gets that crazy 60mpg or whatever. Yes, I should know that stat, but one of the appeals of having a hybrid is that it almost frees you to be the stereotypical lazy American. Almost.
The strange thing is that when you take your foot off the gas, there is no engine-running sound. It is quiet as a traffic cone. And the magnetic key doesn't even need to be put in the ignition. Like a keycard, you can wear it and just be reasonably close to the dashboard, and off you go. Haven't seen that new bubble-VW yet, but until then, this car has my public-transportation-user-vote. It's really pretty. And I mean *really* pretty. I highly recommend looking at the site; it was worth it for all the future-utopian-gattaca daydreams I got to have for 5 minutes.
But. The site has blatant typos; I just bet that mattress doesn't come in a selection of firmness options; and they're not even listing the price. And if that iPod integration worked as well as iTunes integrated with my PC (it didn't) I would be pleasantly surprised. Let's just say I'm not expecting great things.
If you're heavily into Mork, ok. If you're into sleep, I'll recommend sticking with my tradition: full mattress/red curtains/down comforter/Zen player.
