Me No Speak

First to recommend

2 people recommended this item

Description

When I traveled to Europe, I was really worried about not being able to speak to the locals. Unlike many Americans, I don't think the rest of the world should learn our language. i was a little embarrassed not knowing theirs (Italian, French, and Spanish). Luckily, I got by OK, but this product would have definitely help. Essentially a twist on the modern travel dictionary, it adds little pictures for you to point to when asking for directions or information. Don't worry, the English and foreign word are there as well. (via Cool Hunting)

J. Crew x Globe-Trotter Centenary Luggage

First to recommend

Description

In my mind, J. Crew has surpassed its rivals (Gap, Banana Republic), etc. In addition to making stylish but reserved clothing they are forming all kinds of collaborations with Globe-Trotter being the latest.

The luggage reminds me of the movie King Kong or at least that era. It's not cheap but I would turn my head at this over say a LV bag.
