About this list:

I'm not the girliest of girls, but I've definitely become more so as I've gotten older. I love to get glam sometimes, but most of the time I'm too lazy to even wash my face. This is the list of girly beauty products I use - whether I'm sticking with lipgloss and blush, or going full on false eyelashed out.

Description

I've no idea how this magical elixir works, just that it does. It comes out of the tube, completely clear, but turns a perfect "just bitten" shade of pink on your lips. I need to have a friend try it too so I can see if it really works for everyone, or if I just got lucky.

Yes, I’m "only" 31 and wrinkles aren’t yet my main beauty concern. However – with a lifelong allergic reaction to just about everything, and contact lenses since I was 12, I have done an insane amount of tugging on the delicate skin below my eyes. Add to this 5 years of summer lifeguarding with no sunscreen and MAYBE some sunglasses, and the crows feet and damage - it has a started. I have been using this elixir for three days and I seriously already see a difference. I don’t know what it is or how it does it or how long it’ll actually work for me, but I’m hoping it comes by the case.

Sonia Kashuk Luxury Lip Color

It has a slightly odd aftertaste/flavor, but I love the formulation and color. Sheer, comfy, lasting, not too sticky, and the color is perfect for me.
I have sheer calypso and it's the perfect plummy/berry pink. I think I found my new "everyday" lipstick. Now I just have to start wearing lipstick every day. . . .

This hot raspberry pink shade has been my savior. It was a springtime purchase when I wanted to go for a yummy, shocking pink lipcolor, but wasn't about to shell out a ton of cash to figure out if I liked it or not.
It tastes yummy and goes on really nicely. The color is the perfect OMG PINK! shade without being the only thing you notice about me.
I just recently had LASIK and can't wear eye makeup, so a bit of blush and this lipstick have kept me from looking like a zombie at work and social functions. Love it.
(also, was irritated by the fact that I thought the only way to purchase it again would be to take the tube and match up the color on the bottom - what a pain! - but just realized when you take the cover off, the name is on the inside. Duh.)

Maybelline New York: Expert Wear Shadow Quads

Every once in a while, I need to touch up my makeup before going out. I'm not the type of girl that remembers to do this or bring makeup with me, so I'm frequently rushing to a drugstore for a quick fix.
I now have two Maybelline offerings - a quad (Mocha Motion) and a trio (Impeccable Greys), and while I don't love the little sponge brush (it'll do in a pinch), I really do like the colors. They are easy to apply, look great, and last well.
Remind me why I've been buying the expensive stuff again please? Now I just keep one in the console of my car with some blush and I'm good to go when I forget I'm supposed to be looking fabulous instead of tired.

Nerola Orange Blossom Spray Perfume

Description

The lady you're shopping for may not be as huge a Nerola Orange Blossom fan as I am, but if she is, sweet mother Mary, this stuff is fantastic.
All of Pacificas fragrances are rich and dreamy - really good quality stuff for the price.
