It is made of heavy 10 oz cotton canvas and is shaped like a traditional brown paper bag but even a bit bigger, measuring 13.5" wide x 15.5" tall with 5.5" bottom & side gussets. Handles are very sturdy, 1.5" wide and measure 23" in length so you can sling it on your shoulder or carry it by hand. Convenient inside pocket for your keys and cell.
