I've been a fan of curries (Thai and otherwise) for a long time, but haven't ever made any at home. We recently got a family lesson in cooking thai green curry, and here's a shopping list of some of our ingredients.

Description

This cookbook explains Thai cooking in easy to follow language. It's thick enough to contain all of the curries, soups, salads and noodle dishes you've heard of (and some that you probably haven't), but won't strain you're elbow when you're holding it in the kitchen.

Description

This is an excellent choice for making Thai green curry at home. It has a nice spicy flavor, and will give great results when used properly with coconut milk, fish sauce and vegetables.

If you don't have easy access to an asian grocery store, ordering from Amazon might be a good option for you.
