Move over, iPhone, Nokia... this phone is definitely not for the masses, but for those with discerning taste for ridiculously cute things. Unlike the previous versions of Okwap Hello Kitty phones, though, this one is very fashionable and not obnoxiously pink. Dual SIM cards, MP3/MP4/3GPS video capable, 2MPix camera...now your geek lust and cute lust are both satisfied!

(Not yet available commercially stateside as of Oct. 2007 - it was released in Sept. 2007 - but you can find it on eBay.)

I luuuuve tokidoki. I luuuuuve Hello Kitty. So I just about screamed when I found out there would be purses, wallet, card case, plush, etc. that are BOTH tokidoki and Hello Kitty. This was a limited edition collaboration and they are selling out in Japan -- should've bought a plane ticket. You can score some of it on eBay as usual, for about twice the original price (type in "Hello Kitty" and "tokidoki" in the search field).

I wish the material was a little more luxe (trims are faux leather, unlike tokidoki for leSportsac line), but again, the prices are lower.

It's cute overload! Kawaii!!!

I know smart phones are all the rage -- iPhone, Blackberry, Treo, blah blah blah. However smart, none of them are CUTE! Well, this one is.

Unlike the previous Hello Kitty phones, this one does have decent specs and a universally pleasing design. It's quadband for your international travel, got a 3.2 MP camera with flash, music player, 60 MB embedded memory, etc.

But what's delightful is in the little details. You can choose "random Kitty" wallpaper option, and every time you complete a function, voila! a new Hello Kitty picture on your phone. When you dial, the numbers are scrolled on the screen, as in a fountain pen literally scrolling, complete with the sound. When you are entering a number in the midst of a call, the numbers are in the rainbow colors. This phone will make you giddy.

I've had this phone since Christmas time, and I couldn't be happier :-)

Hello Kitty 2009 Limited Swarovski Watch

OK, so in another recommendation I said I buy watches that stand the test of time, but as an avid Hello Kitty fan (understatement), I couldn't let this one pass by me!

The somewhat translucent pink version is obviously cute, but I'm not a pink person, and as an ode to J12, I got it in white. In Japan they actually have brown tortoise shell color band version as well, with a black MOP dial -- a little less syrupy sweet and more understated, but if you're going for a Hello Kitty bling, you might as well go for the biggest bang.

It's so over the top, I love it with my casual wear on weekends.
